Hi I'm Erik, or as my friends call me Enriquí,

I'm an easy-going and well travelled guy from The Netherlands.
Always respectful to other people and would do my best to be a pleasure to be around!

The end of decembre 2016 I quit my job as a projectleader at a Dutch engineering company in The Netherlands.
I studied civil engineering and worked for 13 years and thought it's time to leave the hectic Dutch life and take a break now.

Love to travel, live life, and get lost in new cities.
I'm pretty relaxed about what I do when abroad... anything from sight seeing, to enter pubs and bars, just going out and explore :-)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Meeting the unusual, the unexpected, and the unconventional.
I'm a passionate traveler and love meeting people from around the world and explore different cultures.
Couchsurfing looks like a great way to get sucked into the local life, instead of seeing the local life from the sideline as a visitor.

Haven't had a lot of experience yet as a couchsurfer, but that will hopefully change soon :-)

Music : I'm open to all kinds of music depending on the mood ranging from rock music, to electronic dance and salsa music.

Movies: offcourse diarios de motocicleta, but Pulp Fiction, The Beach, The Matrix, Train Spotting, Shawshank redemption, Schindler's list, Scarface and the Godfather movies are among my favourates.

I like to cook and love to share Thai and Indonesian dishes, and I can teach English.

Since I have my own motorbike with me, we can easily discover nearby places.
I can patch your flat tire (not my favourate activity tough) and we can offcourse share life experiences and great travel stories.

Besides I'm good company and like to have fun :-)
