About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay alive, stay dancing, do the jive.

ABOUT ME

All about life. Keep movin, groovin, you know. Stay funky to the bone. Build bridges, cook dinners, good looking chicken, fried, finger lickin. Draw pictures, be vicious, keep to the road, steer clear of ditches. Stay healthy, all about the fruit and veggies- if they good they good, and if they gone they still good. Eat peaches on beaches, watermelons yellin to me drippin on my breeches. Music, music, conversation through good times, music, keep dancing, shaking tapping feet. Keep cool, stay fresh, stay brushing and flossing everyday keep your smile happy and keep happy, keep smiling. Mild nut allergy and a touch of hayfever at some points during the summer. And that's the truth, Ruth.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep on moving, don't look down

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed a night in Dundee, Scotland for a friend's birthday, and surfed once or twice in Dublin. With my travelling buddy in France we also stayed in Bordeaux and Toulouse for one night each. Since coming to New Zealand on my own for a year though, I have become much more accustomed to the idea of sharing and giving (where couches are concerned). I feel like the relaxed and open minded mentality required to be either a surfer or a host provides a great base from which to make fantastic friends.

Interests

I'm really interested in film, and see it as something to pursue once I finish my architecture degree. I love good food and good coffee, and the sort of company that it tends to bring. Anything to do with music or fresh air.

A bout de souffle

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Came to New Zealand from Ireland on a whim, on my own. The country and it's people are so beautiful. Travelling lone soldier and integrating with a completely new society has balanced my perspective on life, not to mention provided plenty of time for some much needed self reflection.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahrain, France, Hungary, Italy, Maldives, South Africa, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States
