I'm a curious person looking for adventure and variety, but i am not that kind of a person that can talk and get new impressions all day, but i need some silent time to reflect and to contemplate. I really like to go to the nature and just hang around there with no other objective, though i really appreciate having a good book with me most of the times.
Of course that doesn't mean that i don't know to value a good conversation or a coffee or a beer with kind and open people.

I like that you get to know people that would remain strangers for you otherwise. Maybe you meet kinds of people, that you would not meet without CouchSurfing.
On some of my CouchSurfing trips I met very kind people. Sometimes I had deep conversations, sometimes funny evenings, sometimes I got inspired and sometimes I even made new friends. The point is, that it always was different than it would have been without CouchSurfing and that is the reason why I am participating.
While couchsurfing, you have to dare to go to a stranger's place, to spend time with that person and to get to know her/him. Of course that might be a challenge - but it is always an experience.
On the other hand, I also think it is just important to show some solidarity - while travelling is great for gaining new experiences, money can be a limiting factor. So, through that website, I think we can get new perspectives ourselves and help others to do so.

兴趣

I am really open for all kinds of cultural things - i like to go to cinemas, theatres, concerts and to the opera, or to watch movies or records of sceneplays at home. I also like to watch (well made) documentaries about almost everything. Also i really like cooking and i am always eager to find cool new recipes.
I am really interested in science as well. I am studying physics, which is difficult, but really interesting. Also i like to meet students or scientists from other subjects and learn about their studies or research. I think nowadays it is impossible to know about all that extremely interesting stuff going on in modern science, so i like to get at least some impressions.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like to listen to a very broad set of music - at home I mainly listen to rap, classical music and jazz, but it always depends, in which mood I am and whether I have time to fully focus on the music or I need to do something else in the same time. I got really interested in classical music recently, but so far I didn't get into it as deeply as I would like to. I really like Bach, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Schostakowitsch, but there are many more to mention. I know how to play the piano a little bit, I would like to practice much more.
I am open for all kinds of genuine books and movies. Among my favourite writers are Thomas Mann, Hesse, Dostojewski and Oscar Wilde.

After finishing high school I lived in Israel for one year and volunteered in a rehabilitation center. I am still happy that i dared to do so, the impressions and experiences payed back for the many hard moments.

I can always help people to learn languages that I already know, which would be English and German. I can also share some recipes (I am convinced that I can prepare quite good Hummus). Of course I am also interested to learn: I am interested to improve my knowledge of Hebrew and my Russian (which I am learning for 2 years now) and French (which I studied in High school, but unfortunately forgot most of it). Besides I am really interested in recommendations of music, movies and literature, I think that in different countries there are for example many interesting movies, that I would never discover myself.

I think it is always a good thing to see some new perspective on stuff, so I can show you mine on everything you are interested in (in case I know about it, of course. If not, I am more than willing to learn)
I can also introduce you to the world of physics, which is the subject of my studies. Since I started studying, I have learnt many interesting things which I like to share. This is of course also a challenge to me, but I always like to accept it.
