Overview
About Me
We’re Bine and Ephraim – two curious and outgoing people from Germany who love connecting with others, sharing experiences, and discovering new places and cultures. We’ve organized festivals, been active in sports clubs, and now work as doctors – but beyond that, we’re simply social souls who enjoy bringing people together.
Bine is creative, communicative, and happiest when cooking for others or making little videos. Ephraim loves gardening, organizing, and good conversations (his psychology background sometimes shows up there 😉). Together, we like music, games, exploring cities, or just sitting around with a glass of wine and good company. We travel with open hearts and a sense of humor, believing the best part of any trip is the people you meet along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why we’re on Couchsurfing
For us, traveling has always been about people rather than places. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet locals, share real-life experiences, and create memories beyond guidebooks. We love the idea of opening our home (and hearts) in the same way others have welcomed us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Right now, we’re on a journey from Germany heading east – and it has already given us countless unforgettable moments. We’ve camped under a sky full of stars, shared homemade schnapps with people we couldn’t speak a single word with (but somehow understood anyway), hiked through the mountains of the Balkans and the Caucasus, and even explored life under dictatorship in Turkmenistan. The list could go on… and that’s exactly why we travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
We’re always happy to share stories, food, laughter, and whatever skills might be useful – from cooking tips to festival-organizing hacks. We’d love to learn from other cultures and lifestyles, and we’re open to anything from gardening tricks to language exchange. For us, it’s all about sharing time and experiences in a genuine way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We love to cook and share meals, bring along a bit of German culture, and simply enjoy good conversations. Most of all, we try to contribute positive energy and make the time together memorable for everyone.
