About Me

- I don't force you to read my profile, but
please fill out your profile at least a little before sending a request and tell us why you would like to stay with us -

Hey there, thanks for stopping by!
I’m someone who loves good conversations, new perspectives, and sharing stories. Whether we’re diving into deep topics or just laughing over something random. I’d say I fall somewhere in the middle between introvert and extrovert, depending on the mood and the people around me. Also, fair warning: I use a decent amount of irony and sarcasm. Nothing too wild, but enough to keep things interesting. That said, I’m a very honest and straightforward person, and people know they can count on me.

I really enjoy being outdoors—skiing, diving, hiking, or just wandering around with no plan. But what actually drives most of my travels is food. I'm always looking for local dishes and hidden gems. Whether it’s street food or a home-cooked meal, I’m all in.

I’m not the kind of traveler who’s after monuments or must-see sights. What I care about most is getting a real feel for a place: How people live, what daily life looks like, and the small things that give a place its character. That’s also what I love about Couchsurfing. It connects you with people who actually live there, and that’s where the good stories usually begin.

Since my first solo trip through Canada in 2010, I’ve kept that mindset: stay curious, keep learning, and don’t rush things. Over the years I’ve lived in Australia, Thailand, Italy, and Malta, and now I’m based in Cyprus, working remotely and still exploring whenever I can.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had several amazing experiences while couchsurfing with local hosts. From canoe-trips in snowy winters in northern Sasketchewan in Canada, spearfishing trips in Jamaica, quad-biking in the Australian outback to just different couchsurfing-meetings all around Europe, North-America and Oceania.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Welll, there's a couple of things.

- spearfishing and kayaking along the jamaican coast.
- working a winter-season in canadian rocky mountain's biggest ski-resort.
- hiking "mt. doom" in new zealand.
- living two times in a car/van for 8 months in australia and 6 months in south-east europe/turkey.
- scuba dive below 40 metres for the first time to enter a cave.
- spearfishing on 100 consecutive days in a row travelling along the mediterrean sea.
- living a year in Thailand and working as a scuba diving guide on a liveaboard in the Similan Islands

What I Can Share with Hosts

Independence? I fully respect and acknowledge the busy schedule of other people and would never expect a fellow couchsurfer to entertain me.
