Overview
About Me
I'm Erastus, an adventurous and open-minded traveler who loves meeting new people, learning about different cultures and sharing great conversations. I believe in meaningful connections and experiences rather than just ticking places off a list. I enjoy deep conversations, good food and discovering hidden gems in every place I visit. Whether I’m traveling or hosting, I love exchanging stories and making unforgettable memories with people from all walks of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from different cultures, sharing experiences, and exploring new places. For me, traveling is about more than just sightseeing, it’s about the people you meet. Couchsurfing helps me experience places authentically, build friendships and create lasting memories.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy a mix of genres, from Afrobeat and good Deep House. Anything with a great vibe and meaningful lyrics catches my attention.
Movies: I love thought-provoking movies, inspiring documentaries and classic dramas. Some of my favorites include The Pursuit of Happiness.
Books: I'm into books that challenge my thinking and inspire growth. My favorites is "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I also enjoy reading about entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am in the process of developing a community-driven agricultural project in my village, focused on growing fruit trees to enhance food security and sustainability.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share insights on design thinking, management consulting and skills development, especially in the TVET sector. I also enjoy guiding young people on personal and professional growth, networking and stakeholder collaboration.
Learn:
I’m always eager to learn about sustainable agriculture, new business models, different cultures and personal development strategies. I also love picking up new skills from the people I meet, whether it’s a unique cooking technique, a language or a fresh perspective on life.
Share:
I love sharing meaningful conversations, travel stories and ideas on community development. I can also share my knowledge on organizing events, connecting people with opportunities and making an impact through entrepreneurship.
