First of all to mention, I don't host people who are not hosts also, who only want to be guests:)
If you are sort of person who has like 20-30 of references on guest side, or even more, and you are not able to host even few people yearly, you dont need to message me.
Every day, Couchsurfing is become more and more a platform of people who only want to be guests, or platform of broken people, who almost never host others, and they just want to get advantage of others to have free accommodation, food and etc..everybody here is telling that they like to meet new people, etc, but most of them like to meet new people only as guests:)..if you like to meet new people, you would also like to meet them by hosting, not only by being guest-its very simple.
You can be the nicest and kindest person in the world, but if you dont host others, i will not host you. It may sound strict to somebody, but that is my rule, and everbody who has at least some experience as a host, will very easy understand why I have that sort of rule. I am literally bombarded with requests like "Hi, am coming to your town, can you host me for 3 days", "Hi, i am coming for work one week and i need place from which i can work, can you host me"..literally like that..so I am tired of that sort of requests and that sort of people! (((And when they leave after two or three days they leave disaster behind, and i definitely dont want to meet such a like that people...!!!)))

If you like to meet new people, you should also have references as host, and personal references, not only as guest..so my decision is not to host those type of people, because, slowly, step by step, they are those who are ruining this platform and killing one great idea, which Couchsurfing is. So I dont want to host them anymore, and to encourage their behaviour.

I would prefer to host, nice, intellectual, smart people , with life experience, or interesting stories, who are interested in cultural exchange, discussions, learning, PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE AND WHO HAVE GOOD MANNERS-THAT IS A MUST:)
Primitives, people without manners, without character, with profiles with just few words written on it, I am not interested in hosting them. Also, if you are type of person who is trying to save literally every penny on your travel, please also dont message me.
Or if you dont have normal internet access, and then for hours i dont know where you are, and we can not coordinate anything-if you are that type of person, please also dont message me. Few gigabites of Internet in Croatia, with tourist sim card, is only few Euros cost.
Also, if you are extreme introvert and you dont want to communicate, I am also not the best host you:)

When I travel and people host me, I dont look from them for a free accommodation, and free food, I want to learn from them, and to become smarter, wiser, more knowledgeable, with wider perspective, with my every travel:)

I am interested in many things in my life, from long and interesting conversations, of every sort...from politics, to religion, society issues, psychology, sociology, way of living, customs of people from different countries..I like to have conversations with smart and experienced people, from whom I can learn, and widen my life perspectives..

I am trying to live normal life, I smoke, I am regular at recreation activities, from swimming, running, hiking and etc..I like to spend time in nature, meeting interesting and unique people, and trying to grow everyday as person, and most of all, learning about world around me..

You dont need to bring any gifts if i host you, nothing.
