About Me

I just like living, I do not believe bullshits what makes our life harder. I like living with common people and doing whatever they do. I work in a research center as a scientific engineer. Other thing that I like doing is traveling and meeting people. I was born in Turkey and have been living around the world. I consider myself as a world citizen. However, I have a flat in barcelona and that make me feel more at home when i am here. I like one on one meetings..Life is short and there have been lots of things that we should have a try.I prefer going to pubs, listening some live music, taking drinks and having conversations. I like street concerts. Of course I like dancing but Latin ones. guitar, hippy, vagabond and modern..

"La folie, c'est de faire toujours la même chose en espérant un résultat différent" Basically I like living simple and easygoing people. I love learning languages. I travel countries and learning their language and cultures during my holidays. Despite being an engineer, I love reading philosophical books. Still I am not convinced that if it is possible to be expert in any language.
I appreciate common human being values such as love, sharing and nature.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all; do not believe the sterotypes about Spain. Catalunya has a different culture; no-one dances flamenco here or plays guitar. Bullfighting is prohibited. Also, people are a little bit shy. I have a flat here and feel as barcelonian but it is what it is. So, barcelona is not the best option if you are really interested in Spanish culture (even the daily language is catalan here, not spanish). The city has its own energy but I do not consider it as "Spanish" like Madrid or Sevilla.

What I can share with my hosts is : my experince and knowledge about the world; stories, a glass of wine, mojitos and fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Cuba, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, Venezuela
