I'm a 24 year old IT consultant that loves to travel and meet new people. I'm very open minded and am always up to explore new ideas, new cultures, and go on adventures (big or small). I think that couchsurfing is an unique opportunity to meet and connect with people from all over the world that you wouldn't otherwise meet. I love anything outdoors from hiking in the fall, skiing in the winter, and swimming in the summer. As a consultant i work a lot of long hours, but i try to be as active and adventurous as my schedule allows. I also like to go out and party, meeting new people and having them show me their favorite spots in their town and me showing them my favorite spots in my town. I really enjoy a good conversation and will gladly talk with you on any topic under the sun. Couchsurfing provides a genuine way to connect people and it something that I love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While i was living in New Zealand, I was so amazed at the genuine kindness and hospitality that they showed me and my friends while living and traveling around the country. I want to continue to meet amazing people, hear their stories and see the country/city they live in through their eyes. I also want to pay it forward by allowing people to come visit me in my city and extend the hospitality and kindness that has been given to me.

Current favorite novel is The Alchemist, I also love the Harry Potter series and any Dan Brown book.

My favorite movies include any psychological thriller, movies that make you think, or a really stupid comedy film

I love county music, I know it's mostly an American thing, but I'll try to convince you it's the best genera of music out there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once helped rehabilitate a beached killer whale and helped it get back to its pod in the ocean. I also was a kiwi farmer for a bit, its not that amazing but it was really fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a black belt in Tae Kwon do and can teach you the basics of it if you want, or if you're traveling to New Zealand, or anywhere in the US sometime in the near future i'd be happy to help you plan out your trip and give advice on all the fun spots to go to!

I want to continue to learn about new cultures, people, etc. One of my favorite activities is meeting new people and i want to continue to build a global network of friends!

And I can share a lot of really good country songs (its one of my favorite types of music and I'll share some funny stories from my travels :)
