Seeking & Seeking. I have been planted in the NorthWoods of Wisconsin for about 7 years now with spurts of journeying to other lands. A great place of clean water, growing forests, many non-human animal beings, and sensible grounded people. Not an abundance of sun nor heat and plenty of chill and sleet. I am turned on to the permaculture ideal (ancient futures) and dropping slowly out of all the biologically backwards programming of the American Nightmare.
I enjoy foraging, botany, herbology and healing arts, farming/gardening sensibly, hiking, swimming, gazing, mulling over, overcoming my indecision, and playing the beloved guitar.
I can find myself at a cafe questioning my coffee relationship, trying to find a calling on the internet, learning another grateful dead tune, going to the food co-operative too many times a week, entrenched in indecision, sleeping 9 hours, thinking i need to eat less than i require, trying to treat another illness being my own doctor and falling in love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be able to make traveling around more organic and grounded in human relationships. Getting a felt sense of the land is just as important as genuine relation to the people who dwell there but it is not as straightforward as merely arriving. I hope for Couchsurfing to function as a map for navigating the human connection element of traveling and roaming.

Reggae, bluegrass, folk, psychedelia, east African blues, trance, ambient, jazz - i just love diversity and grooving and dwelling in the gloaming together.
