I am a fresh college graduate that is working full time as a 7th grade teacher. I teach science. I spend a lot of my time during the school year planning and being as active as I can in my school. I organize soccer so my students have a place to go, I am the outdoor adventure club leader, I am the advisor for the chess club all on top of teaching the strict curriculum. I love my profession and the students I teacher. I am as involved that I can get. Teaching aside; I love to play soccer and relax while playing video games and scroll reddit. During my off-time as a teacher during the summer I love to go places!!!

I'll be honest, I am on here because I met a couple cool cats in Australia that were originally from England telling me about this site. I have also been influenced by travelling to Chicago to see a friend. I thought we would do the bland Magnificent mile, see the bean, etc. Instead she took me all around the city and showed me what she did for fun as a person from Chicago would do! That really turned me on to the idea of traveling.

I used to always be intimidated by traveling because I did not know where to go. After going to Australia the factor that intimidated me now excites me!

I took a car from Michigan, USA to California and back to see Michigan State University play in the Rose bowl. I stopped along the way to many different things: Teddy Roosevelt National Park, Glacier National Park, Las Vegas, Venice Beach, Pasadena, Palouse Falls, Yellowstone Park, Mount Rushmore, Portland, Seattle, etc.

I did not pay for a hotel, I paid for the shower.
