I'm a backpacker who just graduated from university as an engineer, and I'm looking to travel the world. Like most backpackers, I'm easy going, positive, and love to immerse myself in new things.

I'm really into nature, hiking, culture exchange, history, and whatever the person I'm talking to is passionate about, because I'm always looking for a good conversation partner. I also like sharing my perspective as a Canadian and learn yours.

The trip I'm currently on is taking me through South America, Central America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. So far, so good!

Just right up front, because I've heard it is becoming a problem. I don't see this as just a hostel replacement. I want to get to know the places I visit as best I can, and I see this as a big way to do that. I'd be glad to help with anything around the place I can assist with, and I don't want to cost anyone a penny.

I taught myself to rock climb and then climbed an 800 foot multipitch route in 4 hours. The amazing thing was the view from the top. It was in Zion Canyon, Utah, USA, and you could only see desert for miles around in the blazing sun.
