Heyall !I'm Eric!
I've come up with at least 10 different versions of self-introduction to get you impressed but none of them looks good to me...I guess I'm not very good at this lol.
Soooo, I'm Eric (again!),currently a uni student in Canberra,Australia,which is faaaaar away from my hometown Xi'an,China.I enjoy my life here very much.Life here has made me a more independent and open man.I love meeting up with people and make friends,sharing our stories and fun memories together.However I'm always considerate and respect other's private space becuase I need mine as well.

I will be travelling in Japan for the first time in a couple of days.And doing it all alone seems a less attractive option to me.I believe it will be much cooler to stay with a bunch of local people or travellers like me.
For more travelling opportunies in the future,couchsurfing is a fantastic place for building connections,sharing our happiness and exploring the world so I'd love to be a part of it!I'd love to become a host as well no matter it's in Canberra or Xi'an or anywhere I will be living in.

Music is definitely my favorite!I started to play violin for 7-8 years since I was a kid.I was a member of school symphony orchestra and then moved on to guitar and played in a few bands both in and out of university.I did played a few gigs but now many.Now I'm learing blues harp but just a beginner... Learing a musical instrument is like learing a new language,so much fun in it !!!

For sports,basketball(like every other asian guys huhu ...) and swimming are two of my favorite.I'm learing skateboard as well but to be honest the pace is rather slow.However sometimes I can turn into a crazy wheelchair athlete yelling at the TV with a beer in my hand.

I enjoy reading but I dont read much to be honest...(maybe because I've been an engineering student since the day I know how to read???)I do like science fiction,novels and historical stories.

Comedy! yeeeah! I watch Xiangsheng,crosstalk,talkshow,network drama... you name it.I always find myself obsessed by the magical power of language.

I listen to blues and jazz a lot.I'm a huge Eric Clapton fan but that's not why I name myself Eric in the first place... JJ Cale,Jack Johnson,John Mayer,BB King,Steve Ray Vaugh,Louis Armstrong,Sydney Bechet,Duke Ellington are amongst my favorite artists.

Movies:
I love Woodie Allen.

Books:
The first one that come into my mind is Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell.
