Growing up in Chicago I thought I was moving to the "Great North Woods" when I moved to Wisconsin to join my mother as a sophomore in HS. After graduating I went to Alaska looking for adventure and work Commercial Fishing. That was 1978 I now live in Sterling AK. where I am a building Contractor.

I enjoy teaching the finer points in carpentry to interested apprentices. I am very fascinated learning the intricacies of Mycotopia (the use of mushrooms for the betterment of all lifeforms). sharing my love of harvesting and eating wild and cultivated food.
