About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much as possible before old age sets in!

ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going guy that likes to absorb as much as I can. I am really into traveling, new cultures, new languages, and meeting great people from around the world. I take pride in having a lot of friends and look forward to making many more

PHILOSOPHY

Right now, at this very second, is the oldest you have ever been and the youngest you will ever be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for the first time in the summer of 2012 and can not say enough positive things about it. The hosts I had were amazing and made me feel so comfortable in their homes and towns. I cannot wait until I have the chance to return the favor. Do yourself a favor and try it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is one of the most rewarding experiences I can think of. There is a mutual respect between two complete strangers and everyone has a common belief in exploring new parts of the world, while gaining friends at the same time. I think this CS project is an amazing way to expand one's beliefs and views and I hope I get to participate more as soon as possible.

Interests

I like spreading myself thin so I can experience a little bit of everything. My free time entails lots of outdoor activities like surfing, snowboarding, hiking and running. In between work and school, I find myself filling my time with family and friends. I am just finishing my prerequisite coursework and starting grad school this August for Physical Therapy. There's something about seeing new places and meeting new people that grabs my attention and I believe traveling truly is invaluable.

Music, Movies, and Books

I unfortunately don't find myself with enough time to be much of a movie watcher but usually do enjoy just about everything I see, especially anything that makes me laugh.

Love all types of music, sans the really twangy country stuff, but find myself listening to a lot of indie-electro, pop rock, house, etc........

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trekked the 4 day Inca Trail hike to the Machu Picchu ruins.

I skydived over New Zealand's Southern Alps.

I visited the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland

I ran with the bulls at the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona Spain

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Poland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
