About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to live, experience, grow, travel, learn, and search for that ultimate state of comfort and wisdom

ABOUT ME

Well for starters, I think I should say that I am extremely open-minded and willing to learn just about anything! I have a certain type of respect for things that I have difficulty understanding. I am very conscious and more of a thinker than anything. I try to understand and learn everything, and that means that I obviously love to travel and see. I have a philosophy that says that it's not about the goal that one has in mind, it's more about the journey and what happens during the process towards one's goal. I also love to have fun, and I always try to keep a smile on my face. I love to crack jokes just to keep the positive energy going. If you attempt to grow in a positive manner, only good things can come! I am also always up for trying out new things, no matter how different they are. I love anthropology, culture, and different perspectives. If my friends were to talk about me, I feel like they would say these things. That about sums me up in a nutshell; I am excited for more experiences to come!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to constantly have positive experiences and to learn as much as I can. I want to grow and become knowledgable while also having a bit of fun. I want to leanr different perspectives and cultures. I live knowing that the journey is the most importnat part of life, and that the night is darkest is before the dawn. I also am very spiritual. I am very concerned with my morals and thoughts, and this is why I want to gain wisdom from the world. In order to do this, I want to meet people and listen to different journeys.

Interests

I have a very fervent obsession with writing. I document everything and write many stories. It is my passion, my life, and everything that one needs to know about me can be found in my writings. This is how I engage in activities; my expriences fuel my creativity within my writing. This is how I spend much of my time after I exprience something and get a new idea or philosophy for a story. I love to see something new so that new emotions can spark. Out of these new emotions I can delve into new and more mature writing. I love ot see a new city or a change of scenery to get the creative juices flowing. I am very passionate and emotional when it comes to these types of things. Writing is one of the few things that I take very seriously. Lastly, meeting new people and engaging in conversations that I would not normally have is one of the most valuable things to me. I think that to have a nice and meaningful conversation is rare and undeniably cherishable. To find a different perspective on a certain topic or issue is what really grabs my attnetion and allows me to focus on and explore different sides of my writing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am obsessed with movies, and my favorite movies are Shutter Island, Casablanca, The Dark Knight, An Education, Midnight in Paris, Casino Royale, and Kingdom of Heaven just to name a few. My favorite music is Classical music and jazz, but when I am in a more exciting mood, it is all about rap music. I love dancing to some good hip hop. My favorite novels are The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, and The Stranger by Albert Camus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are three places that I can think of that really blew me away. The first time I went to Peru, I visited Machu Picchu. The place is absolutely breathtaking! As we took the train rounding up the mountain, with Machu Picchu in sight, I could not believe my eyes. The architecture of the buildings and the placement of the whole site is astounding. That moment in the train as we made our trip to the site below Machu Picchu was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. Secondly, when I went to London, I fell in love with Regent's Park. I thought to myself, "Who actually makes parks this beautiful?" I had seen that type of scenery on the internet and on postcards, but never with my own eyes! The plants were absolutely wonderful, creating a truly peaceful ambiance. I ended up taking a nap on one of the benches near the main fountain and woke up 45 minutes later to people looking at me awkwardly. The moment was so full of joy, and I was in such a state of peace and satisfaction. Lastly, during the second time visiting Peru, I took a trip up north to a beach resort just a few miles from Ecuador. My family and I decided to rent a yacht for the day and relax in the ocean. It was one of the most beauitful things listening to music, swimming, and just laying in the South American sun reflecting off of a luxurious boat. As you can see, my moments that take my breath away have a sense of subtle euphoria. When I am in a place of total peace and clearness is my idea of a moment that can become so inspriational and beautiful that it leaves you breathless.
