ABOUT ME

I'm an extremely personable guy, always ready to meet new people. I try my best to be nice to everyone and help out wherever I can. I am intelligent, hard-working, responsible, and diligent. I love to get crazy when the timing is right, but normally I'm just a calm, respectable, down-to-earth fellow.

PHILOSOPHY

Finding a balance between light and dark. Optimism and pessimism. Happiness and sadness.

No discrimination, prejudice, or irrational hatred of any kind. If you're into that, you're probably not for me.

Interests

I love traveling! As I'm sure everyone on this site does. Meeting new people, cultures, languages, foods, etc. makes life worth living and I try to keep an open mind about everything and everyone I meet. I also enjoy cooking, running, learning, reading, watching TV, going out with friends (either to a bar or dancing, I have fun wherever!), and just hanging out with friends in general.

MOVIES: No Country For Old Men, The Dark Knight, American History X, American Beauty, more

MUSIC: Everything but metal. Really into folk and soft rock. Anything that you can think and sleep to.

BOOKS: Harry Potter. The Kite Runner. A Thousand Splendid Suns. The Help. I'm trying to read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the Costa Rican rainforest from the top of the canopy at 250 feet on a ropes course.
Watched the lights of the Eiffel Tower glitter with my host family while sipping wine.
Watched my alma mater Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl from the 4th row up from the endzone.
Swam across a Norwegian bay and ran into a school of jellyfish.
