About Me

Where to start? I am 24 years old and I live in Chicago IL. I studied at Duquesne in Pittsburgh, PA where I took on a lot of leadership and creative roles. I am a very open and interested person, i love exploring the world and getting to know other people's culture. I love to meet new people and have long conversations, I like to talk about language, philosophy, culture, travel, life experiences or whatever else might come up in conversation. I have studied Spanish, Italian, German, and Mandarin Chinese. If I could have any wish it would be to speak every language in the world. I love to do volunteer and to help people. I'm certified to teach English abroad. Without sounding vain or conceited, i really haven't met that many people who don't like me, i'm respectful and nice to everyone I meet unless given a reason to do otherwise. I would definitely say I don't fit the normal description or stereotype of an American person. I am very adventurous and open to other cultures and ways of live. I'm always interested to meet someone new, hear their story, and share our human experience. I also love photography and have been taking pictures for several years now, take a look at if you want to see some examples of my work! I've played sports for all of my life and I like to work out. . I like to edit and create digital art. I like to meet new people and get to know new cultures and dishes. Its hard to not have a good time wit me!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I primarily listen to several subgenres of Electronic music including house (as I am from Chicago) but I also listen to rap, rock, jazz, reggae, pop, classical etc. I actually do not watch TV (I'm always on the go) but I do appreciate film. I can't pick which is my favorite though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to China was a very awe inspiring experience because it's just so different there and the modernity of everything was truly surreal. AMost of the awe inspiring moments have happened abroad such as helping with a homeless shelter as well as a mental institution in Toronto also really brought me to a new realizations in my life. A more recent trip was to Honduras after a good friend and mine set out to make a difference, and after several years of planning and fundraising we were able to get 18 volunteers to Honduras to install a water filtration system for a village in the mountains. Had to have been one of my best experiences.
