About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Biding my time with travel and the like till school or the next festival season, whatever comes first.

ABOUT ME

I have a deep adoration of good music and theatre arts. I plan on using the next couple months to travel around the country and I'd be eternally grateful if you could assist me with a place to sleep, potentially show me around your city? Let me blow all your preconcieved notions about Californians, aaand maybe fufill a couple of them, all in good fun of course.

PHILOSOPHY

Buncha hippie crap. It goes much, much deeper than that. But if i had to generalize it in one sentence that'd sum it up best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm really new to this whole thing, help me build upon it?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the sense of useing this website, i've got no experiance. I've floated around California staying with various friends. As far as actually utilizing this website goes this'll be my first time 'couch surfing' for any sort of extended period of time.

Interests

Theatre arts, music, and traveling are a couple things i'm super passionate about. At the moment all i really want to do with my life is travel around and see what stands out in and around America. I have various aspirations to go back to school, get more into theatre arts, etc, but that'll come later on in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Coen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino's movies have yet to let me down.

The list is kinda big, but if i had to trickle it down to a handfull of musicians... Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Boards of Canada, Shpongle.

I still find myself re-reading The Stranger every now and again. Be Here Now, Fight Club, The Doors of Perception, and Johnny Got His Gun were pretty influential on me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over this past late spring/summer/early fall I ended up working with a zero waste managment company called Wastebusters. It's a pretty rad little gig. We go to music festivals, city street events, big parties, etc. and green the hell out of it(sort recycling, compost, landfill). I get to work with wonderful people, get into these amazing music festivals(for free), all while doing something good for the planet. See, I told you i'm somewhat of a stereotype.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm sure i've got a few worthwhile ideas floating around in my head that'll get you to laugh or think(ideally both). I probibly shouldnt squander them here.
