CURRENT MISSION
JAPOW!! Planning a trip to Japan to snowboard and finally experience the culture that has captivated me since childhood.
My buddy Bill and I are going to be all over Japan and would love to spend as much time as possible meeting locals, snowboarding, and being immersed in Japanese culture. Main problem; neither of us speaks the language...

Currently in Burien Washington. It is highly under utilized. I would be more than happy to host interesting people who are passing through and looking for a pleasant experience in Burien/White Center area. Recently cuffed up, Wife and Son (13) are less interested in hosting people, but willing to consider for the right people. Let us know if you think it might be a good fit.

a guy who likes sport bikes, mountain biking, cliff jumping and hiking. Things I enjoy greatly but rarely do: Snowboarding, Rock Climbing, Sport bike Twisties, Traveling, Wakeboarding, Football, Futbol, Yoga, Computers, Wood working, meditation, political debates.

I started this years ago, and I could never find a place to crash. I will gladly host for sane, mindful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with a lot of random people and crashed many of pads, especially for snowboarding trips. I would like to start doing more weekend traveling. I have had nothing but great experiences with people who have stayed with me. The oddest part is I have hosted dozen of people from around the world with zero issues. The only inconsiderate people I have hosted have been other Americans... So I get it.

Interests

I am into a little bit of everything. Mostly extreme type sports, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Bouldering, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Camping, Mountain biking, motorcycles (sportbike)... ect. I love to be active and gleam the cube.
I enjoy weekend travels and trips of any nature. It is hard for me to get in a situation where I don't have a good time.
I love talking politics and spiritual beliefs. The more I travel and the more people I meet it becomes more obvious how closely related we all are and how immensely different our perspectives range.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yosemite. I stood on the edge of a 3000' cliff. I chased a moose through the forest for a photo op in Utah. I hiked superstition mountain in Phoenix Arizona in 1:45 min. 13 day extravaganza all through Italy. ... Headed to Tokyo, Hakuba(???), Niseko!!

I like meeting people who are similar minded but have a completely different view of the world.
I am trying to learn enough Japanese, so I can go to Japan. If you speak Japanese or have a lot of knowledge of Japan that would be awesome.
I enjoy engineering and science, if you have knowledge of the cosmos, Autodesk, or engineering I would love to learn what you know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an extra room, bed, and shared bathroom, depending on timing. Tons of space in a safe residential neighborhood about 30 minutes south of Seattle, 4 miles from SeaTac Airport
