About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Been actively applying to Masters in Physician Assistant programs and been taking care of my doggo and my handsome man. We live in an amazing spot in Santa Ana, walking distance to two massive parks and "locally influenced Mexican" markets. We have a dog, if thats not your thing, she is a big goofball and is spoiled because thats what her daddies provide haha. We also have a roommate who is online with CouchSurfing as well and she is just as excited to meet and show you our great city!

ABOUT ME

Adventurous personality and an awesome roommate. Love cooking, trying new food/places/experiences and keeping fit. Biking, bodyboarding, snowboarding, kayaking, camping, if i haven't done it then I'm not one to say no 🤗
Recent UCI BioSci grad and applying for physician assistant programs.

PHILOSOPHY

study hard and it will get me to where i want to be, in-between find time to get out and explore new places...for me I need to budget better haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

House in Santa Ana, CA. Three room house with a large divided backyard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been in contact with other surfers during my travels, but have not had the chance to meet up or stay.

Interests

We are all very enthusiastic and outgoing individuals. We love networking and engaging in other cultures, as well as introducing some of our own. We also have skills that we can share such as gardening and cooking from the garden, growing "what's for dinner!". I love incorporating food from our garden into our daily meals :D

We have most nights off so it gives some opportunity for dinner and bars, but unfortunately we probably wont stay out too late to show you around the real nightlife cuz of the early mornings for us. Of course you will have 24 access to the house, as long as you remain respectful ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely love science fiction novels. Anything by Michael Crichton, Ton Clancy or Steven King.

Action or Horror movies. Neither of my house mates like either pretty much. So let us huddle on the couch and be scared together! Literally anything by Steven Spielberg. l live for his classics like ET and Jurassic Park, and love his integration of Science Fiction, Fantasy and fact. Michael Bay, obviously because I love explosions. Guy Richie, because his movies are so much fun to watch.

Music is so diverse now that I don't know how to describe what I listen to or what I am interested in. I like going to EDM shows, my old school emo/screamo band shows and hip hop/R&B shows. We have a ton of venues in the area, as well as a "short" (about an hour) drive to Los Angeles or San Diego for any other shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I grew up in CA and my boyfriend grew up in Pennsylvania, we have driven across the Nation multiple times. I know it says, "One Amazing Thing I've Done", but those are the trips where I learn the most about who I am, what more I can be in my relationship, and what else I can learn from my backyard as an American. Spending that much time quietly in a car without phone service or music is the platform that I felt was almost necessary for me to truly be the best version of who I could be.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are a very diverse group to stay with :D. I grew up here in CA, my boyfriend grew up on the East Coast in Pennsylvania and our roommate grew up in Alabama. We each bring a different aspect into living in California. We each bring our own taste of our history into the house like home-cooked meals or ways of "getting out of the house"

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love cooking, we know the area, we travel and share our experiences often and we love networking and making connections with new friends. I love the idea of this network because it opens a door to even close neighbors, while at the same time connecting people from the opposite side of the globe. We can always learn something new ;D
