I have traveled extensively but still haven't had an opportunity to either surf or host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive. I never directly hosted but our house would accommodate surfers on occasion and we made many great friends.

Interests

Soccer, biking, bread baking, cooking, reading, knitting, gardening, guitar, piano, backpacking/camping, kayaking, running, trumpet, basketball, ultimate frisbee, long boarding, downhill/cross country/water skiing, and writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driven across the country from NY to California about two dozen times. Spent a month with my best friend driving all over the US, camping the entire time. Awesome memories.

Also made the drive from to NY to NorCal in two and a half days on one of our trips. Put some down some serious miles on that occasion.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A comfortable home and a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Love fellow travelers and stories of their adventures. I also know when you've been on the road for a while how nice a day or two of relaxation can be, so I try to create that environment.
