One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am currently bicycling around the world and in 2023 biked around Taiwan, across South Korea, across Japan, from the Alps to Brussels, from London to Dublin, and then South Portugal.
I retired from Intel where I consulted at the Whitehead Institute (mapping of the Human genome), CERN Super Collider Project, National Computer Labs, Major Universities, the NSA, Military, Game companies, Major Internet Companies, Financial Institutions, Oil Companies, Airlines, All Major OEMs(IBM, Dell, Samsung, HP, Asus, Acer, HTC, Sony), Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Yahoo...and many others
I have partied in the deep..deep redneck countryside and in the hippest of night clubs, I have slept in 5 star hotels in NY, Tokyo, London and on the couches of friends I just met in unknown locations. I have eaten in the best restaurants in NYC, Beijing, and Paris, and out of community pots when doing peace rallies...
Big vacations include renting a Pousada (bungalow) on a Brazilian beach for 2 months and bicycling across Europe from the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea along EuroVelo 6.
All in all I have tried to do everything and there is so much more I haven't done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make beer, how to program computers, and almost everything about Portland. I can share my homebrew, and bicycle tools.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to go to music, festivals of any type (but especially beer), bicycle rides (slow or fast), good pubs, hikes, playing/watching soccer, and things I have never done on weekends. (Your welcome to join me or not)
