ABOUT ME

I have been in school for way to long and wish that I had traveled more. I am a small town guy but am aspiring to be a real bush monkey. I spend my summers in to bush if at all possible and generally like being in nature.

Swim cross current!

If you fight the current you burn a lot of energy and never get anywhere and if you just go with the flow you will never reach the far bank.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet new people, suggest good places to go etc, and most likely meet some new friends or some friends again when I next decide to hit the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently got back from a roadtrip out to eastern Canada for three months, I was more van-dwelling than couch surfing but always thought that couch-surfing would be a great way to meet new people. I did have a few couches that I slept on along the way from either old friends or people I met through the unicycling community, all good experiences.

Probably one of my greatest accomplishments was leading a group of youth on a month long hiking and canoe trip in Northern Saskatchewan and seeing them mature over the time spent together, and a year later having most of them back as some of my most capable staff when I was running the summer camp.
