I have lived in Oregon my whole life. Born and raised in the Willamette Valley. Yes, I grew up here, went to college here, found a job and have worked here for too many years. Oregon is great and beautiful and wonderful, but.... I am ready for a change. I am tired of my desk job. It is not fulfilling me :)

This March, my friends invited me to Thailand for two weeks, and on a whim, I accepted. Best decision ever! I felt free, Thailand was so beautiful and the sun was good for me! We started in Bangkok then went to Pattaya City, Ko Larn, Krabi back to Bangkok and then back home. Very sad day! We visited lots of beaches, partied a bit and I loved every minute.

I got a little taste of travel, and I have decided.....(I think i have decided) that I want to travel to Crete, Greece, take a four week course, and then travel around Greece for the next two months on the tourist Visa.

That is the short term escape plan coming up in the next couple of months...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world and other cultures. I want to explore and have adventures that I cannot have while I am working at my desk job!
