Overview
About Me
I grew up in southern Ontario and have lived between the GTA and Windsor my whole life. I've worked in a variety of industries: event planning, education, illustration, instructional design, admin, camp programming, etc. I love meeting people from all over and am continuing to learn new languages (French and Italian currently, ASL in the fall). I'm very fun and love to show people around the coolest parts of my cities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is very eclectic, ranging from jazz to pop to indie to grunge to musicals. I love fantasy and slice of life books (Harry Potter (eternal fave) and Love, Simon (current fave) for example) and my movie taste is even more varied than my music taste. I love fantasy (HP), action (Marvel mostly), animation (DreamWorks), drama (Testament of Youth), period pieces (Downton Abbey-not a movie I know but damn that costuming is amazing), comedy (I Love You, Man), romance (Amelie), etc.

Teach, Learn, Share
Great conversationalist for language practice/story telling. I have a lot of creative hobbies/skills (jewelry making, illustration with inks and watercolours, life drawing, wood working, sewing, sculpting, etc.) I'd love to share/teach if interested. Also would love to share some of my baking skills/recipes that I have gathered (e.g. I learned how to bake the most delicious dark chocolate cake when I lived in France and am willing to share the secrets).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Delicious baked goodies, humour, and lots of board games/video games for entertainment. Also have two bicycles for getting around town and taking some riverfront rides.
