In 2018, I graduated college and solo-traveled to India. I completed my yoga teacher training in Rishikesh & spent a few months backpacking around the region. Upon returning to the US, I quit my corporate consulting job (before it actually started) and began the journey of trying to create a more alternative, nomadic lifestyle that would allow me to find work projects with a social mission while continuing to explore new corners of the world.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked as a Political Campaign Organizer, Social Media Marketer, Photographer, Yoga Teacher, and Group Fitness Instructor all while solo-traveling across 35 US states.

Most recently, I found myself working at yoga retreat centers across Costa Rica before returning back to my home state of North Carolina for the summer.

I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, writing, meditation, photography/film, vegetarian food, sharing stories, and immersing myself in new cultures. I love getting to know a new place through the recommendations of a local, and I’d love to hear about your travel experiences & passion projects!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to explore diverse landscapes, immerse myself in new cultures, and share stories with people from across the globe. I love learning about and being inspired by other people's passions, adventures, and life philosophies.

Music: Coldplay, Kanye, and Lana Del Rey are always my top 3 artists on Spotify so do with that what you will.🤣

Movies: usually enjoy coming-of age stories (Call Me By Your Name, Little Women), movies about space (Interstellar), Quentin Tarantino films, cultural documentaries

Books: read mostly nonfiction spirituality, self-help, and philosophy books (authors like Glennon Doyle, Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass).
