I'm a 26 year old female traveler who decided to hit the road for several months to backpack throughout SE Asia and India! I'm looking to meet friends and locals and get to know the culture in each of the cities I'll be staying.

Musica, film e libri

I love all sorts of music but I do particularly love the Indie/folky style bands out there. Can't go wrong with the jazzy rock side of the street and on occasion I can get down with rap. In terms of movies I think Shawshank Redemption is my favorite but I love many categories: thrillers, documentaries, silly comedy/romantic movies, but I'm not a huge fan of scary movies (I get too scared..). Also a big reader, I enjoy a lot of nonfiction books and that's typically what I stick to reading (especially on the subject of meditation or spirituality/contemplation) but I do love fictional series.

I traveled to Colombia for 2 weeks with my best friend 2 years ago and caught the travel bug and want to keep it going (of course 2 years later). I did the 4 day trek to the lost city! Highly recommend for any of you South America fans out there
