我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Currently residing in Huntington Beach CA. I am working for Vans as a manager at their outdoor skatepark and I love it! I've been given the opportunity to travel with the company but need a little help getting there! I am looking to move to Lahaina (or nearby towns), my store location will be on first street and I'd like to be as close to work as possible. Considering how I won't have a vehicle at first. Trying to leave as soon as possible with the little money I have and need a couch to sleep on for the first few weeks to get my feet on the ground and get goin'. I will have very few items with me and will ship them when I am stable and have a home of my own.

Incredibly fascinated by humans, animals, mother nature and the energy that vibrates between us. I enjoy learning new things and consider a day wasted if I fall asleep not having learnt something new. I am an artist of many mediums. I do side work graphic design and enjoy it very much. I have also acquired a tattoo machine and have impressed my self by how quickly I am learning. I paint occasionally and doodle daily. I'd love to get into metal smith jewelry making and experiment with pottery/ceramics. I picked up a bass recently and loved it. I keep a skateboard in my trunk. It comes out when I'm feeling bold enough. I'm all about having a good time. Show me something new, introduce me to your friends, let's learn from each other and have a damn good time while we're doing it.

Oh music.. oh books. Movies, well, from what I've gathered there's a list of them I should be bummed that I haven't seen. I'm fascinated by the incredible amount of new genres of music that have risen over the past twenty years. I love the specificity. But to keep it simple and relatable.. Math Rock, Surf Wave, Post Rock, Experimental, Dub Reggae, Conscious Rap, Post Punk, 80s Alternative, 90s Hip Hop (west coast>east coast), Classic Psychedelic Rock, Folk, Post Hardcore. Books, any drunken, depressive, anti social, substance abusing, semi crazy, poets. Fascinating. Satires. Informative reading (psychology/sociology/physics).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Mission work in Mexico when I was young, building an orphanage and exploring with children who ran up to me and hugged me as if we had known each other for a lifetime. Stepping into a heartbreaking environment that was surprisingly full of so much hope and laughter.. getting my hands dirty, hurting in the morning when I woke up, knowing there wasn't a dime involved but laid each brick down as if I was building my own home.
