About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The idealistic European adventure of wandering far and wide enjoying the small out of the way towns.

ABOUT ME

I am a very easy-going person, happy to just walk around and observe locals. I love good food and little coffee shops.

PHILOSOPHY

I wish I was more spontaneous. I love the friends that I have and would like to have more. Finding out what to do with my life is an ongoing challenge. Right now, things seem to be lining up okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately no one on the face of the planet wants to visit Binghamton, NY, so I doubt I will have much opportunity to host people. My favorite thing about couch surfing is getting to know a local person who can tell you the best places to go for whatever it is you are looking to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never experienced more hospitality than staying with a family in Sicily. They brought us around town, let us hang out at their pizzeria (with free pizza of course) and gave us an unforgettable cultural experience!

Interests

Photography, film, food, cooking, walking, scarf weather, rain, pubs, good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

All movies! Except for horror... Favorites include: Moulin Rouge, The American President, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Sessions, Twister.

Music very eclectic. Lately: Gotye, Missy Higgins, Florence and the Machine, Guster, Foxes, Mumford and Sons

Books: Harry Potter, Jane Austen, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, The Giver, Ender's Game

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While this may be cliche, seeing the Grand Canyon really solidified in my mind how huge the world really is and that we are each just a small part of a global community.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: If you are ever wondering where you've seen that actor, I know. I can teach you to throw a lacrosse ball if you've got a stick lying around collecting dust.

Learn: Anything local. Interesting historical facts.

Share: I can make you an apple pie that will blow your mind.
