CURRENT MISSION

My mission is... to make all my friends at home jealous! Haha, but seriously. I just want to have fun and experience the rest of the world outside of New Jersey!

ABOUT ME

I'm nineteen years old, a sophomore at Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. I'm a journalism major, and I love writing. I live in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, about twenty minutes from Philadelphia and 2 hours from New York City. I live close to the shore, too, and I loooooove the beach. I love surfing and tanning on the shore. I was an art major up until this semester and I am very passionate about art and fashion. Eventually I would like to become a photojournalist for a magazine like National Geographic, or a writer. I love music and instruments, I've been playing drums for 8 years, piano for 6 and guitar for 5 and was involved in my high school's jazz and marching band as well as the school's musicals and drama productions.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that you live life to learn and help others learn. That's why I'm a journalism major; I want to teach people about parts of the world that they can't experience themselves. The world is such an amazing place and I want to see everything that I can and do everything that I can. I am very fortunate to have the amazing life that I have, with my wonderful family and friends.

As for music, I really enjoy Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, and I absolutely love The Beatles. My favorite movies are any Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell movie (especially 50 First Dates or StepBrothers), Kill Bill 1 and 2, The Producers, Surf's Up, and Fight Club. My favorite books are A Long Way Gone, The Catcher in the Rye, or anything by Elie Wiesel

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think one of the most amazing things I've ever done was take a full day tour through the Ring of Kerry in County Kerry, Ireland. It was so beautiful I couldn't describe it if I wanted to, absolutely breathtaking. We, my twin brother along with several members of my high school class and my teacher, were fortunate enough to have no rain so we had the chance to get out of our bus and travel around by foot for a while. It was something I'll never forget.

I don't know much about couchsurfing, but I do know some good places to visit while you're in London, Ireland, and Scotland, places that would interest tourists that have never been there. Having travelled to those areas as a tourist myself I learned what was the most interesting and what was not worth the time.
