About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Challenge your limits. If you are scared, chances are you are doing things right!
ABOUT ME
My friends would say that I am crazy (because I am totally not afraid of embarrassing myself by doing retarded things in public), funny (although sometimes I think they are actually laughing at me, but I guess that counts too, right?) and outgoing.
I love making new friends because I think it is great to visit the world (without actually going there) - I love learning new cultures, exposing myself to people from all walks of life.
If you are fun and outgoing, hit me up when you visit in Singapore! I am sorry I cannot host you, because I am living with my parents (typical Asian culture) but I can bring your around Singapore! (:
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem. Life's too short!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hit me up when you are in Singapore and I can bring you all around the island for nice food, durians - we can avoid doing touristy things too ! (:
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had 2 couch surfing experiences thus far: both in Japan (nara and Kyoto)
It was awesome! :D I hope to couch surf more and also bring more people around Singapore!
Interests
I love learning about new things (cultures, experiences) etc. I firmly believe in the cliched mantra " you only live once" and I am adventurous (or so I would like to think) as well. I tried Bungee jumping when I was in Cairns, Australia and I loved every moment of it! :D
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biological Sciences so yes, I guess I am kind of nerdy. But I also give tuition, so I don't get to introverted or weird (you know, PhD = Permanent Head Damage)...? I guess I am also very lame, as you can probably tell from the chunk of texts here..
If you like what you see/read, hit me up! (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee Jumping - the most recent crazy thing I have done. IT WAS AWESOME!
the adrenaline, the fear, the exhilaration.. no words can describe that feeling. That sense of accomplishment when you take the leap of faith and the next moment you are soaring to (okay, maybe plummeting from) the air.
Seeing the CuChi Tunnels in Vietnam and visiting the killing fields (during the Khmer regime) in Cambodia: it made me understand the meaning of life and how vulnerable people can be. The extremity of their living conditions taught me to treasure what I have around me. That's also when I decided that life is too short to be wasted, after all, you only live once, right? (:
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Cambodia, China, France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
