I'm a 28 year old Canadian who travels frequently. I value experiences over things and tend to have more of a carefree, laissez-faire attitude toward travelling (rarely do I have an itinerary!). I have lived in three different countries and I really like taking my time getting to know an area, the people, language etc. I prioritize human connection and find that I get along with most people.

I've couchsurfed a few times in Spain and Peru and it was so much fun. The hosts were very accommodating and I felt that it was a better experience than staying in a hostel or hotel, which can have a more "touristy" feel.
