Hello, I'm Erica. I live and work in Washington, DC as an English teacher for adults. I speak Spanish and a little French, and I'm curious about all other languages! Using an app to try to pick up some basic Swedish currently.

I'm tidy and respectful, non-smoking, vegetarian, and I like pets. I like to explore cities and towns on foot or bike, meet new people and try to communicate across languages and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I prefer to meet local folks, make connections and get a sense of the culture. I haven't used Couchsurfing a lot yet, but everyone I have met so far has been wonderful!
