ABOUT ME

I am easygoing, adaptable and ready for adventure. I spend my free time skiing (cross country and downhill), hiking, biking, cooking, relaxing, reading, hanging out with friends and laughing.

PHILOSOPHY

Traveling to me is not about all about visiting churches and going to the tourist spots. My favorite way to travel is to find those obscure details of a different landscape that remind you of the trip and have hopefully given insight into another culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Spain in Barcelona and south of Valencia. Had a great time talking with other people about differing cultures, ways of life, and horrible American politics. Unfortunately I lost my last profile, so I am setting up a new one. We have hosted several folks in Montana, but just recently moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado and haven't finished unpacking yet!

兴趣

Mostly I spend my time skiing in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer. I like to try all different types of wine and beer (and liquor too); it's a great way to introduce yourself to a new country and it's way of life. I do enjoy a nice relaxing day sleeping in and reading, drinking coffee and cooking a great meal in the evening. I also enjoy a fun night on the town with great people and live music!

I got to fly in a helicopter when I was working on a wildfire in Idaho; beautiful landscape even after it was torched!
