About Me

I’m a down-to-earth traveler who loves connecting with people, cultures, and places on a deep level. Yoga has become a big part of my life — not just the physical practice, I’m drawn to the philosophy and the inner work that helps bring more awareness and clarity into everyday life. I enjoy deeper, intimate conversations, spontaneous adventures, and finding beauty in both simple and extraordinary moments.

I’ve lived on a sailboat, spent years building products as my career, and I’m always seeking new ways to learn, grow, and share experiences with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals, share stories, and create authentic connections. I’ll be in Spain soon (Valencia and Barcelona), and I’d love to meet people who can help me experience the cities in a way that goes beyond just being a tourist. I’m also curious about what it might feel like to live there long-term, as I see a transition towards living in Europe on the horizon.

Interests

I’m happiest outdoors — at the beach, hiking, or exploring new landscapes. Sailing has been a big part of my life (I once lived aboard a 30’ sailboat for a year and crossed the Atlantic), but these days my focus is more on yoga, mindfulness, and creating meaningful projects in my work.

I’m passionate about design and problem-solving, but also about slowing down, being present, and appreciating life’s small joys — like a good coffee, a sunrise, or a deep conversation with a stranger who feels like an old friend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’d love to share yoga practices and philosophy, swap travel stories, or dive into conversations about spirituality, creativity, or life in general. I’m always open to learning something new from others — whether it’s a recipe, a skill, or a different perspective on the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A positive outlook, curiosity, and some good stories from the road (and sea). I enjoy both thoughtful conversations and lighthearted ones. I'm always happy to take a host out for food or drinks to share experiences.

On a lighter note — I grew up doing magic (mainly card tricks), and have been asked to showcase them over the last 18+ years, so if you’re up for it, I'm happy to share some laughs.
