Laid back, friendly, adventurous guy. I love meeting new people and hearing stories about life in other countries. I love travelling and absolutely treasure the opportunity to experience foreign places in a more real and off the beaten path way. I hope to carve out an existence for myself that allows me to travel as much as possible.

Friendly, positive girl that's always smiling and laughing! Hoping to see as much of the world as possible. I spent a year living in England and loved learning all about a new culture.

ABOUT Ollie & Scou

We have a 2yr old and a 1yr old whippet (dogs). They are a bundle of energy but very affectionate and loving. Not an ounce of aggression and they love every person they have ever met.

I believe that any two people can find common ground and can share positive, meaningful experiences. As long as you are kind and open minded (to a certain extent), then I will likely get along with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted close to 50 times now both at my current residence and last one. I recently had my first experience as a guest in the Azores (Portugal) and it was amazing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had nothing but A+ experiences with couchsurfing. Every person that has stayed with us has been easy to get along with and I've shared some great experiences with them all. Simple experiences such as having a meal and a beer on the patio with great conversation are some of the best parts of couchsurfing.

Interests

I love live music and go to a lot of festivals and concerts. I stay active and play volleyball, tennis, cycling and snowboarding among others. I appreciate the outdoors and try to make the most of all the beautiful natural landscapes that Ottawa and the surrounding area have to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scaled a remote part of the great wall of China, where I crossed paths with only a handful of people all day and was surrounded by nothing but mountains and wall for as far as the eye can see!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As an experienced host I know what makes a good couchsurfer. I am clean, happy to help out around the home and can adapt to the hosts schedule.
