About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to talk with anyone about anything

ABOUT ME

i am quirky. i lust for truth. i enjoy investigating things way beyond my current mental capacity. i love conversation & adventure. traveling and getting lost in a city i do not know is my idea of an AMAZING time.

ever want to win me over, just ask a question or talk about whatever is on your mind.
i enjoy listening to music on all occasions and LOVE to people watch.
i hate capitalizing letters.
sparrows & robins are my most favored birds.

[i'm quite terrible at describing myself to be honest.]

PHILOSOPHY

explore all. extract truth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my house or home or squat or pad is always open to all that are trust worthy and all that have a general sense of respect for space and property.
& so just as i expect that from others i too have high standards on a personal level to be respectful and courteous to all physical and metaphysical property, emotions & personal space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- stayed at a meth dealers house in Phoenix, Arizona.
- stayed in the maids quarters of a mansion in Denver, Colorado and had nightmares each night.
- had my pack and tent stolen in Wyoming and had to sleep in a cemetery for a few nights.
- slept in a park in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico and was invited to a friendly house for the remainder of my stay.
-

funnnnn funnnnnnnnessssss.

Interests

i enjoy making things by hand, or at least attempting to do so just so that i know the worth of the things around me. it started as a subconscious thing when i was a child but i've been able to pigeonhole what (at least in my opinion) i believe it to be.
i enjoy having conversations with people that like to talk and also that have learned how to listen over the years. i receive great pleasure when i hear about people and their stories and their lives and the way they talk, it is just so interesting to me!
one of my favorite pastimes is collecting thought while using a typewriter to record on page my concerns and aspirations for life.
to take my mind off of things i go on exceptionally long walks or if the materials are around i like to fly kites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i know this may seem deranged but one of the most memorable things i have ever been through & experienced was being there at my grandmothers side when she was dying in the hospital.
it was emotionally and physically arresting to me, the last few hours of her being alive and knowing that i was there by her side meant more to me than anything. it was also a closure that i feel was necessary to go through and has opened my eyes to the importance of family and just spending time with people in all is essential.
-----------------
when i visited Minneapolis the winter of 2008 i walked out on the Mississippi River under the old stone bridge and the ice cracked and sounded like thunder and it shook me to my core. i will never forget that day.
-----------------
i slept on the shores of the Salton Sea and woke up at 2am and looked out my tent door and witnessed a lightning storm that lasted almost three hours. it was deafening thunder & blinding lightning touching down on the waters and gusts of wind that should have3 carried me away. very phenomenal.
