ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old boy, easy going, not talking too much. I'm interested in nature, history, architecture, music and occupy myself with playing music (saxophone, e-bass), do bike tours, hiking, building furniture, sometimes singing (mostly when I'm alone:-) dancing Tango and playing theatre. I like travelling although I do it much too seldom. And slowly but steady I improve my cooking skills

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love to visit cities cause I'm fascinated by architecture and history. And as cities are melting pots of these things they are mostly interesting places. But I think if you just visit places and read stuff in guides (even if it's the lonely planet) it's a bit like if you cook without salt. You got incredible ingredients but stuff tastes a bit boring. If you can enrich your stay with the stories and the knowledge of locals its a way of traveling which is much more meaningful. Although you get to know completely other sights of a city. You can appreciate a city much better. And of course locals go to totally different places when they go out. And as I really dislike touristic bars this seems perfect. I really loved it to guide people around and show them my view of Berlin when we had guest in our flat. I would like to get to know peoples view of their city as well.
