Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After meeting up and exchanging stories with other backpackers in Munich for the first time some years ago I immediately became a convert. Being able to experience new places and local culture through the eyes of someone who has lived it, and simply the joy of meeting new people along the way have added a depth to my travels that I find irreplaceable.
