CURRENT MISSION

To not only see the world, but to understand how others see it. Visit places I've never been, and visit other people's lifestyles.

I also spend my time at work working with people in different city governments who are interested in innovation, technology, and improving people's lives in cities. This type of work is related to my interest in urban planning and social justice which I believe all people no matter where you live or how much money you have -- should be entitled to a life of opportunity and education.

I am easy going, giggly and love learning about new things. I enjoy watching SVU Marathons almost as much as I love traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to meet people and learn about where you call home. The more I know about a place, the more I want to visit!

I also want to improve my language skills (Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Swahili), talk about art in cities, and explore/support life on the margins for those who the society may be ignoring or leaving behind.

Interests

I'm constantly on the hunt for inspiration. When I'm not at work, I'm out unwinding with friends, planning my next travel excursion, working out, or in deep thought about one of life's many mysteries (ie whether it's truly safe/unsafe to stand in front of the microwave while it's running; where I left my headphones last; etc)...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a dancer by training (ballet, modern, tap, and hip hop). I've most recently gotten into hoola hooping and do this professionally with a troupe based in Washington DC. I take my hoop whenever I travel so if we meet up, there's a chance I can teach you some moves!
