Hi,
My name is Ericka. Over the past seven years, I have been working toward getting my Bachelor's Degree, which I finally obtained a year ago this May. Just like many others open to couch surfing, I've been here and there- Maine, Massachusetts and Costa Rica for school. The list grows with the addition of vacations and volunteering opportunities.
I grew up with three younger sisters, and many pets which has made me pretty adaptive in a variety of environments.

Going new places is awesome, but it is the people I have met along the way that make for the best stories/memories :) Also, couchsurfing appeals to my more financially mindful lifestyle.

Musica, film e libri

For music, I like to listen to country, classic rock, 80s, 90s, relaxing spa-type music, Jazz, etc.
Movies: I prefer to watch comedies most of the time, but I also really like suspense/thrillers, some sci-fi, and historical-fiction.
Books: One of my favorites is "The Kite Runner", occasionally I'll read something from the horror, historical fiction or self-advancement genre.

I went on a night-tour with a group of other students to see bio-luminescent lights in the ocean (if you don't know what bioluminescence is, search for some pictures, it'll totally be worth it) The best nights to go out are the darkest ones, meaning minimal moonlight. So our group took a taxi-boat out about a half mile from the shore and jumped into the inky-black ocean. To see things light up, you have to splash around; I felt like shark-bait, but I jumped in anyway, and it was amazing!

I love to learn, so chances are I probably have a fun-fact or two I can share haha. I am definitely a fan of doing yoga, so if a partner helps to motivate you to do it, just invite me along!

I am a good writer, organizer, planner, and kind of a novice herbalist haha.
