ABOUT ME

I'm definitely a little left of center. My friends would say that I'm friendly, passionate, and little goofy. I am a social worker and adult educator- one fun fact is that I work for public health in the county jail.

PHILOSOPHY

I think joy can be found in things we do every day as well as in things we do just once. The people we meet along the way enrich our lives through their stories and experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Life in the United States is a paradoxical blend of light and shadow and I am trying to manifest radical hospitality as a way to center humanity and live life to the fullest through intentional connection, generosity, and understanding in a world that often feels divided—creating a space where people feel valued, seen, and empowered to share their stories.

Interests

I work full-time and am always on the go and doing something. I love to hang out with my friends. I thrive on diversity and love hearing stories and getting to know the hearts and souls of people. I also love activity and adventure—from spontaneous road trips, parties in the park with just a blanket and good music, paddle boarding, or a breathtaking hike in the mountains. Life should be lived!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the sun rise in Mexico City after a night on the town, the huge city asleep, delirious from dancing and being in love, and just happy to be alive!

I'd love to share and compare notes on philosophy , the power of knowledge, and unrecognized ways that we impact others….or just drink a beer or cup of tea! :-)

I’m tidy, easy going, low maintenance, and self-sufficient.

I don’t need special attention, so you won’t need to worry about me getting in your way if you’re busy.

I am almost always open to playing games, exploring the city, getting a bite to eat, or trying something new!
