Overview
About Me
There’s something deeply beautiful about meeting strangers who feel like old friends. That’s what draws me to Couchsurfing; the chance to share stories, cultures, and quiet laughs with people from places I’ve never been, yet feel somehow connected to. I believe every encounter holds a lesson, and every friendship is a mirror to our shared humanity.
I live in Bali, a place that has gently embraced me with its calm beaches, open-hearted people, and the kind of serenity that invites you to slow down and feel. Although I live here without my family, this island has become a comforting home. Its spirit has softened my solitude and turned it into something rich with purpose.
I enjoy spending time with both locals and expatriates, listening, exchanging stories, and building friendships that are rooted in sincerity. I’m not someone who opens up quickly because I tend to observe first and feel out the energy. However, once a sense of trust grows, I show up fully, warm, talkative, and wholeheartedly invested in the moment. I hold space for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and colors, and I seek those who are kind, honest, and unafraid to be real.
A little quirk about me: I am a Highly Sensitive Person. I tend to absorb the emotions of people and spaces quite profoundly, which can either be a blessing or a curse depending on the moment and how you look at it. This trait makes me especially empathetic and attuned to subtleties that others might overlook. It also means I appreciate deep connections and thoughtful exchanges even more.
I’m more drawn to stillness rather than noise. You’ll more likely find me at a quiet beach, a local art gallery, or simply at home cooking for a few close friends. I find joy in slow evenings filled with meaningful conversations, shared meals, and stories that unfold naturally. I believe true connection happens in the quieter spaces where presence matters more than performance.
What I value most in people is integrity, especially the quiet kind that shows up with honesty and consistency. I’m not drawn to those who wear masks or pursue friendships for their own gain. To me, the best connections are given freely with no expectations, only the joy of simply being there for each other.
Interests
In my free time, I’m nurturing a quiet ambition to grow my career as a virtual assistant. I’ve been devoting my energy to learning, refining my skills, and exploring new possibilities in this field. It is a journey of self-development, and I am hopeful that in time it will open doors to more creative work and financial freedom alongside my main job.
Outside of work, I love to cook, read poetry and novels, and reflect through writing about people, philosophy or simply the little moments that shape us. Although I have not published anything yet, writing is a sacred practice I deeply cherish. I am also currently learning French and dreaming of expanding into other languages like Italian, Dutch, and Arabic, one word at a time.
PHILOSOPHY
Just be sincere, don't be hypocrite. Being alone sometimes much better than have fake friends.
