I'm an engineer and I'll be working in Houston, TX for the next few year. I love meeting new folks and cultures and all that typical boring travel stuff. I like beer, going out with the local people, and making life an adventure!

I grew up on a tiny weird island in Florida, and the water's like a second home. I'm a laid back, easy going guy, piña coladas and engineering, palm trees and science , and my timeline sort of looks like this:
2015 - Graduated mechanical engineering w/ specialty in alternative energy
2015 - Incorrectly thought engineering would be boring so I worked in a bar in central America for 6 months
2016 - Which didn't feel like anything meaningful so I taught English in an orphanage in Colombia for 8 months
2016 - But I quickly found out that I need to actually earn more than $10 a day so I can retire in 10 years and start my Caribbean bar I've dreamed of since I was 20. Took an engineering job in Qatar and that was.. interesting haha
2018- Came over to the US for about a year and plan on returning international around mid 2019!

Soy ingeniero y trabajo por todas partes del mundo, y actualmente me quedo en Houston, TX. Me encanta conocer a personas nuevas y aprender sus culturas. Me gusta tomar cervezas con amigos y salir por la noche, y ver todas las partes interesantes de cada ciudad.

Crié en una isla muy pequeña y loca en el caribe, y el agua es como un hogar segundo para mí. Soy muy sencillo, tranquilo. Cuba libres y ingeniería, hamacas y la ciencia.

Me gusta considerarme un hombre generoso y charro. También por 8 meses he enseñado inglés en unos orfanatos como voluntario. Antes trabajaba en un bar, y despues trabaje en Katar y el Oriente Medio como ingeniero. Actualmente vivo en Houston, TX por el siguiente ano.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I've stayed on a few couches, but I generally just like to meet up with people. I love meeting new folks and either showing them around or getting all the local secrets to the rare small restaurants that the tourists don't know.
