ABOUT ME

My name is Eric, I am 22 years old and currently finishing a Master's Degree in Theoretical Physics (Institut d'Optique Graduate Schoo, ParisTech).
I'm french (living in Paris) but I spend some months in Germany a few years ago.
I am for the summer at JQI, University of Maryland, for a three months internship. I am going to try to visit as much as possible the East Coast !

Interests

I am higly interested by all kinds of music. I play the piano, the drums and the guitar. As a hobby, I recorded several original soundtracks for documentary films.
I also like very much sport such as mountain sports (climbing, alpinisim and paragliding), cycling and running (marathon).
Of course, I am interested in applied and theoretical science, such as Physics and Chemistry. As a hobby I have been writting some science articles on Wikipedia.
I also simply like visit foreign countries and visit cities, meet people...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All kinds, especially jazz and old rock'n'roll bands (70s' !). I'd be very interesting in sharing my passion with other music fans !
Book: mostly classical french literature, including poetry and theater. I like reading, so I would be interested in having some new ideas of book to read !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recorded original soundtracks for Vogue website.
I spent six months in Germany when I was 16.
I organized a charity trip in Romania to give to handicapped children better holidays.

Well, physics and chemistry (not sure anyone will be interested in this !)
More seriously, I can play several music instruments and speak german and french.
