I grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado called Granby. My youth was spent playing soccer, shooting pool, enjoying the outdoors, experimenting with photography, and learning about other cultures from international workers at our local YMCA. After high school, I moved to Boulder, where I got a degree in Russian studies and a minor in French.

Backpacking is my biggest passion in life. Exploring unknown places, learning about unfamiliar cultures, and making new friends from around the world is what I live for.

I recently got back from my third solo long-term backpacking trip, and I can't wait for the next, wherever that may be! While I save up for my next journey, I look forward to hosting some couchsurfers who are on an adventure of their own.
