Hey! I'm Eric. I'm new to couchsurfing, even though I made a profile years ago. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in Computer Science and Management Information Systems. Outside my nerdy (but totally awesome :P) formal studies, my main passion is music. I'm starting a rock band with a couple friends, which is definitely the thing I'm most excited about now. My main instrument is guitar, and I also sing. If I'm not studying or doing music things, you'll probably find me learning Chinese, playing sports, out at a bar, biking, working out, getting involved in international communities, or doing something else that gets my interest. I'm a very outgoing person, and I'm open to doing any kinds of things while hosting (once I start), whether it be quiet, loud, indoors or outdoors. When I travel, I usually like a nice combination of outdoors (or biking/walking if in a city), a few tourist spots, meeting random new people at bars/clubs, historical tours, and seeing a few artsy neighborhoods or live shows. I'm open to most things, though. :D
