Hi there!I'm Eric, from Barcelona but based in Berlin since 2007.I have two passions, travel and photography, and I devote to them every time I can escape from the routine of the day a day life!I considere myself pretty openminded, politically biased and suffering from constant itchy feet.Other than that, I collect music and love to get to know other forms of understanding life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, so far in a pretty leechy way, I didn't get any requests till now, but I'm eager to get some mail and show Berlin to somebody, so don't hesitate, damn it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS while looking for acommodation in Juba, South Sudan, where I went the summer of 2011 to witness and photograph the Independence Day.Using CS I got to meet Simon and Lukasz, two livesavers that where super helpful once we hit the ground in Juba.Since then every time I plan a trip I snoop a bit in the CS database, looking for interesting people to get to know.

Intercultural differences and all you can learn from them.Uneducate myself from all the bullshit that comes with the tradictional educational systems of the west.Music, from Neofolk to IDM, Indie, Noise, Ambient...Photography and photojournalism. Click-click.International politics and socioeconomics. Conspiranoia in general. It is fun.

I watch tons of tv shows. Lately Californication, Hung, Homeland, Dexter, The Wire, The Shield, Sopranos, Six feet under, The Office, Big Bang Theory, IT Crowd, Black Books, Black Mirror...About literature, I'm a big fan of Dan Simmons and Neal Stephenson. Noam Chomsky is also fun. I only discovered, read and enjoyed two poets so far, the catalan Anna Gual and Rumi.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I took part in a project that made 7.500km by van projecting movies in a mobile cinema in remote areas of the Balkans.Even they where remote, they all had TV Sat at home, but it was real fun to get to gather an entire village at the center of the town to watch Casablanca or No Man's Land.
