Hi there!
My name is Erico, I’m from Salvador, Brazil but my home is the world! I love learning and getting to know different cultures and share experiences and knowledge with people.
For me traveling is a way of life, a constant mindset, a necessary thing to learn about the world and myself. I believe we can be travelers even when we are in your hometown, we just need keep restless and curious about everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to attend events and meet cool people in the places where I go.
While still in Salvador, I can walk around and guide the "surfers" who come here, especially foreigners with whom I can practice English and teach Portuguese, if they want.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am rocker, I grew up listening to bands like AC / DC, Ramones, The Clash and others, however, I like all kinds of music.

Recently I have been very interested in Jazz, Ska, Dub, Samba and Brazilian artists
I like all kinds of movies. My favorite movies are The Godfather, Scarface, Inception, Kill Bill, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings.

My favorite authors are Hermman Hesse, Albert Camus, Jack Kerouac, Douglas Adams, Ernest Hemingway, Júlio Cortazar, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Jose Saramago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a lot about Brazilian culture, especially our history, our language and music. Also, I can share some good stories about the places that I've been and teach some things about drinks, coffee and cooking ;)
